Souffleuse behält alles im eigenen Speicher auf diesem iPhone. Von sich aus sendet die App nichts; die einzige Übertragung, die sie überhaupt vornimmt, ist ein Export, um den du bittest, und der nimmt das ganze Stück mit. Auch ein Backup kann eine Kopie von diesem iPhone tragen — das steht weiter unten und ist nicht das Werk der App.

Aufnahmen. Leseproben werden im eigenen Speicher der App auf diesem iPhone abgelegt. Souffleuse lädt sie nie hoch und wertet sie nie aus, und der einzige Weg hinaus führt über einen Export, um den du bittest — siehe unten. Alles andere, was an sie herankommen könnte — dieses iPhone selbst, ein Backup davon oder der iCloud-Account, in den dieses Backup geht — liegt außerhalb der App. Das Mikrofon wird nur während einer laufenden Aufnahme verwendet.

Stücke und PDFs. Importierte Texte werden in den Speicher der App kopiert und dort gelesen. Die App sendet sie nirgendwohin und gleicht sie nicht zwischen Geräten ab; es gilt dieselbe Ausnahme wie für Aufnahmen — ein Export, um den du bittest, nimmt das Stück und seine PDFs mit.

Einstellungen. Darstellung, Sprache, Übungsansicht und Probenoptionen werden auf dem Gerät gespeichert, damit sie beim nächsten Mal noch gesetzt sind.

Kein Netzwerk, keine Analyse, keine Werbung. Die App stellt keine Netzwerkanfragen, enthält keine Analyse- oder Werbebibliotheken und erhebt keine Nutzungsdaten.

Backups. Sie liegen ganz außerhalb der App und sind der eine Weg, auf dem deine Aufnahmen und Texte dieses iPhone verlassen können, ohne dass du sie verschickst. Ist iCloud-Backup eingeschaltet — Apples Dienst, in den iOS-Einstellungen — oder sicherst du dieses iPhone am Computer mit dem Finder, der Apple-Devices-App oder iTunes, dann enthält dieses Backup den Speicher dieser App: deine Aufnahmen und deine Texte. Das gilt für ein gewöhnliches Computer-Backup ebenso wie für ein verschlüsseltes; die Verschlüsselung nimmt weitere Dinge hinzu, etwa gespeicherte Passwörter, und entscheidet nicht darüber, ob App-Daten enthalten sind. Wird ein Backup auf einem anderen iPhone wiederhergestellt, kommen sie mit. Souffleuse erstellt keine Backups und sieht keine; ein- und ausgeschaltet wird jede Art dort, wo sie gemacht wird, nicht in der App.

Ein Stück teilen. Beim Export entsteht eine .souffleuse-Datei, die an das Teilen-Menü übergeben wird und dorthin geht, wohin du sie schickst. Sie enthält das ganze Stück: die Aufnahmen, die PDFs, die Szenen- und Rollennamen und die Arbeit, die du in Zuordnung und Markierungen gesteckt hast. Es ist die einzige Übertragung, die Souffleuse selbst vornimmt, und nur, wenn du darum bittest.

Löschen. Ein entferntes Stück wandert ins Archiv; wird es dort gelöscht, verschwinden seine Aufnahmen endgültig vom Gerät. Wird die App gelöscht, verschwindet alles, was sie auf dem Gerät hält — ein früher angelegtes Backup kann allerdings noch eine Kopie enthalten, bis es ersetzt oder gelöscht wird.

Privacy

Souffleuse keeps everything in its own storage on this iPhone. The app sends nothing anywhere of its own accord; the only transfer it ever makes is an export you ask for, and that carries the whole play. A device backup can take a copy off this iPhone as well — that is further down, and it is not the app's doing.

Recordings. Table reads are written into the app's own storage on this iPhone. Souffleuse never uploads them and never analyses them, and the only way it lets them out is an export you ask for — see below. Everything else that could reach them — this iPhone itself, a backup of it, or the iCloud account that backup goes to — is outside the app's control. The microphone is used only while a take is running.

Plays and PDFs. Scripts you import are copied into the app's storage and read there. The app does not send them anywhere and does not sync them between devices; the same exception applies as to recordings — an export you ask for carries the play and its PDFs with it.

Settings. Your appearance, language, practice layout and rehearsal options are stored on the device so they are still set next time.

No network, no analytics, no advertising. The app makes no network requests, contains no third-party analytics or advertising code, and collects no usage data.

Backups. These sit outside the app entirely, and are the one way your recordings and scripts can leave this iPhone without you sending them. If iCloud Backup is switched on — Apple's service, in iOS Settings — or if you back this iPhone up to a computer with Finder, the Apple Devices app or iTunes, that backup includes this app's storage: your recordings and your scripts. That is true of an ordinary computer backup as well as an encrypted one; encrypting adds other things, such as saved passwords, and does not decide whether app data is included. Restoring a backup onto another iPhone brings them with it. Souffleuse makes no backups and can see none; each kind is switched on and off where it is made, not in the app.

Sharing a play. Exporting writes a .souffleuse file and hands it to the share sheet, so it goes wherever you send it. It is the whole play: the recordings, the PDFs, the scene and role names, and the work you have done aligning and marking them. It is the only transfer Souffleuse itself makes, and only when you ask for it.

Deleting. Removing a play archives it; deleting it from the archive removes its recordings from the device for good. Deleting the app removes everything it holds on the device — though a backup taken earlier may still hold a copy until that backup is replaced or deleted.
